I’ve asked several people in business why they change lanes/quit…it’s pretty much inflation (customers aren’t shopping as much), B2B is cut back as businesses are shutting down and don’t need suppliers and others are simply finding ways to generate income that doesn’t require physical investments or inventory with the risk of it not selling or not doing well. Most are getting into POD, digital products and anything far from physical goods on hand. This hurts as a business owner but I’m hoping for the best. It may be time for your transition to something else ❤ and this business can be secondary.

What no commercial machine can I use that can embroidery poster size, or do I do it in sections?

I went to your website to order but I don't understand the sizing for adults. I want to order the cozy season shirt. I wear a women's size 18. what size shirt? The sizing chart is confusing for adult sizes, (at least for me it is):/

You should see if you can get into the promotional products industry. I worked in that industry and alot of end clients want large quantities and are willing to pay for the customization. You would need to get in contact with distributors, as the end clients work with the distributors, just a thought. Companies always have a budget for promotional products so there is always money to be made.

I was listening to you describe your symptoms. I had the same exact symptoms. Are you eating gluten & sugar? Gluten causes leaky gut and sets up inflammation and so does sugar. Eliminate these from your diet and you should see a marked difference within a few days!

Biggest mistake you made, was rent a warehouse. You should have made a huge shed in your house and use that as storage. Cause now you started making money to pay for rent. You miscalculated your projections if you made any. BUT, we learn from mistakes. Downsize again and start over.

I think you should launch an in person campaign and try to get your stuff carried by local retailers and sell in local markets and events. I don't think you should close your business. I think you need to revamp your approach and your local community is there to help.

This would be cute for a memory box but I prefer the lettering east to west or if it is North to South I would prefer the letter be upright. My brain is like that’s sideways lol 😂. I love the font. I’m sure other people love it like that.

We go to vendor events (we live off of our handmade business). Every single event this year, the attendance is down. Nearly every vendor I’ve talked to this year has said that their sales have been cut in half. Don’t take it personal. Maybe consider downsizing for a bit. Look into getting into a few brick and mortar stores. Set up at conventions. Consider advertising directly to businesses that may benefit from having their logo on products. Don’t give up, you’ve made it this far. Talk to your local small business association and see if they can help you find grants, apply for loans or at the minimum help you to figure out a plan for moving forward. You can do it.

You are so awesome a person, mother, and business owner. When I think about how many women your age out there that would rather rely on the government to give them money every month because they can't work, or just want to sit back and collect child support, then I see your video. You are so incredible with how you run your business and make money while still carrying a child at that. It just proves that these other young ladies and welfare moms are just being lazy and gaming the system. It can be done; you just have to have the will and drive to do it. Prayers 🙏🏽 for healing of your body and your business. I have been a follower and know all too well what you are going through in a smaller scale. Had my business since 2015 (tutus etc), survived through COVID but the economy took me straight out the game. I closed my business two years ago and went back to nursing working in a large physicians office and haven't looked back. The year that I struggled before closing took a toll on me. I love being back in the doctor's office the money is great and my stress is low. I know you will bounce back. ❤

There's some good advice in these comments. Personally, hard as it is, I'd lay off the employees til you can afford to rehire them, and send your man out job-hunting immediately. You can't carry everybody on your back when you're barely walking yourself. You have to fill your own bucket before you can pour into anyone else's. ❤

Hello! love your channel already! I'm starting my small business embroidering t-shirts. using logos with 2-3 colors. which machine can you recommend? Brother SE700 or Brother PE900 Embroidery. I was thinking of using a budget of 500-800$ for the machine itself

The economy is not garbage. You just cannot acquire new customers. Change your model. There are other venues you can use to advertise better. For example, find another business and share the lease with them. That will drop your price. Use that money and go after the new trend in your business. Business apparels must be trendy. If you’re not on the trend then you’re getting left out. Keep your heads up and reach out if you have questions. You will get through this.

I faced the same issue and had to start saving diligently while focusing on activities that generate income. Unfortunately, our sales dropped, but we continued spending on the business, hoping for a turnaround that never came. I was also juggling too many different tasks, thinking long-term. Now, I'm in a better place, saving, focusing on things that sell, and trying to accumulate money to keep the business running.

This is because our entire nation is suffering. Prices are at an all time high. Sales are plummeting everywhere on even necessities because Americans are struggling to pay bills. You are in my prayers.

I would focus less on "custom" and more on mass sales of specific embroidered items. Hats, sweatshirts, etc. I see many similar stores on tiktok interacting with their clients, making a lot of product, and doing gangbuster sales. You have the know how, just put it to use in a way that makes more products for more money. I even see a lot of these stores take business orders since people see them on tiktok. You could really grow your embroidery by offering it to the nation via tiktop shops.

Hang in there! You will figure it out. I'm going through something similar but on a much smaller scale. i was just trying to do everything myself and most of my business was local. i had no social media presence at all and thought i didn't have time to bother with it. To make a long story short, I was wrong. Now i'm learning about everything social media/marketing and gave up some of the printing (outsourcing). So my suggestion would to figure out what you love to do the most and source out the rest (AI, Contract printers, etc.). Good luck! ps. i've been a subscriber since 2018.
